Fresh Fruit Smoothie

Serves: 2 smoothies.

Preparation Time: 5 minutes.


  • Ice cubes
  • 400ml (14fl oz) low fat milk / almond milk
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 60g (2 oz) ground almonds
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) clear honey
  • Optional – unflavoured 25g (1 oz) whey protein


  1. Place ice cubes in blender / smoothie maker and blend until slushy.
  2. Peel and cut bananas into small chunks.
  3. Add all ingredients into blender and process until a thick consistency is achieved.
