Preparation Time: 5 minutes.
- Ice cubes
- 400ml (14fl oz) low fat milk / almond milk
- 2 ripe bananas
- 60g (2 oz) ground almonds
- 1 tbsp (15ml) clear honey
- Optional – unflavoured 25g (1 oz) whey protein
- Place ice cubes in blender / smoothie maker and blend until slushy.
- Peel and cut bananas into small chunks.
- Add all ingredients into blender and process until a thick consistency is achieved.
